About

Hailey Padilha is a printmaker pursuing a BFA with Teaching Certification at Midwestern State University. Her work uses traditional and experimental printmaking processes to explore themes of social justice and the ways history is recorded, remembered, and repeated. Through layering and material experimentation, Padilha examines how visual systems, such as photographs and printed language, can reveal patterns of power, absence, and collective memory.

Her work has been featured in juried and group exhibitions across Texas and the Midwest, and has been included in national and international print exchanges. Padilha currently works as a Printmaking Studio Assistant at MSU Texas, where she supports instruction and demonstrations, and is actively involved in curatorial projects, community arts programming, and professional printmaking organizations. Her practice is grounded in the belief that art can educate viewers about history and encourage critical reflection on its continued impact today.
